Waking Up After Many Years of Sleep

Sanfranb3

I am coming up on a significant birthday.

I may not be new.

But waking up to something, someplace, or someone new and wonderful fills me with hope

and the understanding that I will never, never become old and jaded

and that in life there will always, always be something to look forward to.

Down to the last day, the last hour, the last second.

Happy birthday to me.

As the photos may (or may not) reveal, I'm away on an adventure right now. Apologies for those who asked for interviews who I haven't gotten to. I promise to get back to it on my return.

Have a long hot bubblebath and think of me wishing you a big bright happy happy birthday. Enjoy the vacation from your usual.

Great big gigantic sloppy kisses and bear hugs to you.

Rock on, chica, motherfucken rock on.

Mmm. Hotel rooms and mysterious women in black.

...I'll be in my bunk.

Happy 30th birthday, baby.

:)

Damn that is one fiiiiine ass you have there.

Have a fabulous, shimmering birthday Syl.

Awww yes, our twenties is a time of soul-searching and deeply profound ponderings. Have a Happy B-Day and know that the world is far better for it, than without. :)

...what aag says.

I'd hit it B^)

Miss Syl added:

Well, I'm back, with a cold, so very tired. But happy.

DN: The tub wasn't big enough for a luxurious bath, but the showerhead was *amazing.* Thanks for the well wishes.

Hiromi: The only thing missing was taking a ride on the back of your bike along the coast. Someday soon...

Karl Elvis: This hotel I stayed in was night and day from the last one I was at when I was in San Francisco. Now I know why people shell out the big bucks for luxury hotels. High thread-count sheets, wide screen TV, "companion goldfish"... I don't know how I'm ever going to go back to my budget hotel lifestyle now.

AAG: Well, it is sticking out into the camera a bit in that first shot. Objects in the lens may be larger than they appear. Heh. I actually like the second shot better. Shows all the curves.

Nikki: Thanks, honey. And thanks for the brilliant e-card!

Art: Twenties???? Bwahahahaha... I'll just say nothing...

Karl Elvis (again): Literally or figuratively? :-P

Happy 30th Miss Syl.

Heh, you're just a youngin' still...

Miss Syl added:

AAG is leading everyone astray with her little joke. I'm not thirty. But I'll always be a youngin', no matter what. :)

Elvis said:

Literally, in both senses of the word.

Hell yeah.
